Neighborhood Action Council Sets MeetingPublished Wednesday, March 22, 2000 in the Gurdon TimesThe Gurdon Neighborhood Action Council will hold a meeting Sat., March 25, at 1:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Neighborhood Action Center building Third and Childress Streets in Gurdon. The purpose of the meeting is to officially accept the resignation of the president, A.B. Brown, who has served the council in this position for 30 years. During the meeting a date will be set to elect new officers and establish a plan of action for the future. The meeting is open to the public. All citizens of Gurdon and surrounding areas are invited.
