Pleasant Hill Fire Department was to have its monthly meeting Tuesday night at Fairview Church. They are asking for all the help they can get to have a successful department.

Alma Renfro from Homer, La., is visiting with Annie Lee Cornelius this week.

Larry and Janie Morrow are going to be proud grandparents again this June. Jeff and Miki Morrow from Benton are going to have twins. Best of luck and congratulations.

Claude Head is still not doing well. He returned home last week from the heart hospital. Remember him in your prayers.

David and Karen Cobb had guests over for Sunday dinner. Those attending were George Cornelius, Leslie Renfro and Alma Renfro.

Kim Overton, Aaron Morton and myself had Sunday dinner with my parents, J.W. and Maxine Glass. Like every Sunday, there was a house full.

Tony Overton and Jason Morrow had National Guard drill at Little Rock this weekend. They left Friday afternoon and returned home Sunday afternoon.

Someone turned three years old and was honored with a birthday party Sunday. Jessica Hopkins was the birthday girl. After the party they had a big fish fry. There were cousins, aunts and uncles, which made up about 20 people who were there to celebrate with her. Happy birthday, Jessica.

Have a safe week and keep on smiling.
