J.W. and Maxine Glass, along with Steve, Deb and Cody Jackson, vacationed in Branson, Mo., for the weekend. They saw several shows, had a good time and returned home Sunday afternoon.

Charles Callicott and wife Kelly of Bragg Lake entertained his parents, Coy and Grace, on their 62nd wedding anniversary Saturday. He fried fish and they listened to country music.

Bob Lunford of Rosston had a biopsy early last week. It turned out negative. We were all happy for him. He and Wanda went to Dallas also last week for graduation of grandson Doug Horn. Their families, 17 children and grandchildren, celebrated by having lunch together and attending church in Irving, Texas, where they used to attend.

Bro. Tal Webb and his crew headed for church camp at Bogg's Springs Monday. 18 kids with Bro. Tal, Krista and Bob Lunsford expect great things this week.

Bro. J.C. and Betty Bryan of Chidester visited Bro. Junior and Ann Loe Sunday afternoon.

Bro. Willie and LaJoy Knight visited Bro. Junior and Ann Loe Tuesday.

Lucy Glass and Sid Steed attended homecoming at Boughton Baptist Church Sunday.

Mary Cross is residing at Hillcrest Nursing Home now. She had a stroke recently, was in the hospital for a few days then moved to Hillcrest.

We were glad to see Powell and Betty Cross in church Sunday evening. Powell has been ill for some time and unable to attend church.

Little Zack Cross was also on the sick list Sunday. We missed him as he never misses church unless he is sick.

J.W. and Maxine Glass had supper with newlyweds, Tracy and Marsha Bennett, Tuesday evening.

We were all glad to see Jarrett Dundee at church Sunday.

A general meeting of Caney Cemetery Association will meet June 21 at 7 p.m. at Morris Baptist Church. If you have an interest in Caney, if you have helpful input or questions meet, with us at that time.
