Redland EHCPublished Wednesday, March 15, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Redland Extension Homemakers Club met Tuesday, March 7, in the Shady Grove Baptist Church fellowship hall. The meeting was called to order by president Joy Cox. The collect was read by Leona Ballard. A very good devotion was given by Betty Cagle with prayer by Billie Ridling. Roll call was answered by 10 members telling what they liked best that is grown in Arkansas. There was no old business to discuss. The spring county council meeting to be held in April was discussed. The Redland club will be in charge of registration. The program on Cooking with Arkansas Commodities was given by Billie Ridling. There were several products on display that were produced in Arkansas. Refreshments made from chicken and rice as well as other goodies were enjoyed by all. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
