Wicker, Ridling Announce EngagementPublished Wednesday, March 15, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneHelen Vania Wicker of Benton and John Coleman Ridling of Prescott announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. Helen is the daughter of Elizabeth Elmore Wicker and the late Ottis Earl Wicker of Benton, formerly of Prescott. She is the granddaughter of Neva Florence Love Elmore and Noel Charles Elmore of Prescott. Paternal grandparents are Florence Martin Wicker and Benjamin Marion Wicker of Prescott. J.C. is the son of Billie McClain Ridling and the late Fred Ridling Jr. of Prescott and Virginia Jones Ghormley of Las Vegas, Nev. Paternal grandparents are Marie Blount Ridling and Fred Ridling. Maternal grandparents are Murl Hendrix Jones and Arlie Imon Jones, Willie Maxine McClain and Hobart Purtis McClain, all of Prescott. An outdoor wedding is planned for May 20 at the home of the groom.
