March came in like a lamb and everything is looking more like spring everyday.

Beatrice Johnson had a hip replacement February 8 at St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana. She spent some time in St. Michael Rehab, but came home last week. Prentress Johnson stayed with his brother, Thomas Que, while Bea was in Texarkana.

Faye House is taking hip therapy in Baptist Medical Center at Little Rock. She is scheduled to come home Thursday. Her daughter, Fannie Moore, arrived Sunday by plane to spend some time with her mother and dad.

Everett and Mary Orren arrived home Tuesday after spending several days with their daughter, Linda Brooks, her husband, Kyle, and grandsons, Craig and Aaron, of Macon, Ga. The highlight of their trip was going to Plains, Ga., to hear former president Jimmy Carter teach his Sunday school class.

We are sorry Betty St. Clair has a blood clot that was probably caused from her hip replacement. She is in Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

Harold and Thelma White visited Chloe Orren and Lenord House during the weekend.

Roy and Judy Allen visited Willie and me a while Friday. They also visited Boyd and Betty St. Clair.

Happy birthday to Katie (Hooks) Holder. She will be 96 March 13. Katie lived most of her life in our community and has three sisters and a brother living in and near Prescott.

Ricky and Denise Stubbs, Theresa and Courtney of Nashville had dinner with Pete and Cathryn Jester and Jimmy Joe Sunday. Darlene Young and Breanna visited later.

Elsie Elmore ate diner and visited Mary Butcher Saturday and also with Mary's daughter.

Robin and Elizabeth Ridgell and Alex, Kay Wren, Paul and Robin Ridgell, Herbie Ridgell and Margo Green all attended the Jonquil Festival at Old Washington Saturday. They enjoyed a picnic lunch and the activities of the day.
