Doris Hildebrand has been in the hospital in Little Rock for several days. We hope she improves and will be home soon.

Doris Barlow and others took her mother, Lucille Kirk, out for lunch at the Ole Feed House in Camden on Sunday to celebrate her 91st birthday. She is a resident of Long Meadow Nursing Home.

Bill and Kay Sellers spent the weekend camping on Millwood Lake. They enjoy fishing for crappie this time of the year.

Funeral services were held February 19 for William H. Pratt with burial at Bluff City Cemetery.

Margie Knight enjoyed a visit by her daughters, Rose and Kathy, last weekend.

James Nelson has reported that his place has been frequented by a black bear lately. It took a while to identify the intruder until the bear's footprint was found and verified by game wardens. See James for the rest of the story.

Britt and Kelly Carman from Camden were visiting in the community last Sunday.

Nell Wanda McKelvy brought her grandsons, Chris and Greg Phelps, of Cabot to church last Sunday.

I was just thinking that if I had a dollar for every time I spent a dollar, I'd have all my money back.
