Military NewsPublished Wednesday, March 8, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneArmy National Guard Pfc. Dana L. Stone has graduated from basic military training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. During the training, the soldier received instruction in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid and army history and traditions. Stone is the daughter of Lynda J. Stone of RR 1, Murfreesboro, and Dewey L. Stone of Delight. She graduated in 1994 from Murfreesboro High School and received a bachelor's degree in 1999 from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia.
