Watch for the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism's special insert offering spring/summer vacation ideas and fill out the coupon which automatically enters you in the Arkansas Millennium Vacation Sweepstakes.

This year marks the first time a sweepstakes has been associated with the Arkansas newspaper insert and the total value of the promotion exceeds, $10,000. Drawings will be held in May to award six free vacations, one in each of the state's natural areas Ozark Mountains, River Valley, Ouachita Mountains, Timberlands, Central and Delta. The six vacation packages include lodging, attraction tickets, meals and other prizes.

"With the vacation planning season upon us and spring break quicky approaching, it's the perfect time to start thinking about where you'd like to travel this year." said Joe David Rice, tourism director for the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism. "The Arkansas insert is a very user-friendly tool for planning a vacation, and the Millennium Sweepstakes offers a great opportunity to win a free trip to The Natural State."
