Mrs. Read Is HonoredPublished Wednesday, June 9, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesRecently Mrs. Katherine Read, formerly of Sycamore community and now a resident of Riley's Oak Hill Manor Nursing Home in North Little Rock, was a special guest at the home of her daughter-in-law, Brooksie Read also of North Little Rock. Other family members present were Paul and Nita Read of Bastrop, La., Georgia Lanham of Culpepper, Va., Michael and LeEllen Read with their daughters, Courtney and Michaela, of North Little Rock, and William and Missy Read with their children, Lauren, Allison and Daniel, of Jackson, Miss. Little Daniel, age three months, is the latest addition to the Read family. Friends of the family attending were Janet, the mother of Missy Read, Charlene Eckert, John Ross, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Dickie Bratton.
