Shaddock, McGuirt To Exchange VowsPublished Wednesday, June 9, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesDanny and Martha Shaddock of Sparkman are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer, to Philip McGuirt, son of Ray and Lillie McDaniel of Arkadelphia. He also the son of the late Richard McGuirt. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of James and Vada Butler and Raymond and Iva Jean Shaddock, all of Sparkman. Jennifer is a 1999 graduate of Sparkman High School. The prospective groom is the grandson of Garland Leamons of Vaden. Phillip is a 1999 graduate of Gurdon High School. He will be entering the U.S. Navy in August. The ceremony will be June 19 at 4:00 p.m. in Berry Chapel on the campus of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia.
