Benefit Planned To Raise Funds For Ailing YouthPublished Wednesday, March 1, 2000 in the Gurdon TimesA benefit gospel singing will be held for Crystal Sanders, a 15-year-old girl suffering from leukemia. The concert will be held Saturday, March 11 from 7-10 p.m. at the Gurdon Senior Adult Center. Tickets will be $5 per person, with the money helping pay for the meal of hot dogs, sloppy Joes, cakes and drinks. The entertainment will consist of the LeMay Family, Gary Jennings, Anita Allen and Trish Hill. The money raised from the event will help cover the expenses from Sanders' illness.
