Reunion Is Sunday For Wingfield-Clark

The 61st annual Clark and Wingfield reunion will be held June 13 at Center Grove United Methodist Church, which is located near Okolona. All family members and friends are invited to spend the day in worship, fellowship and fun.

The morning program will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the church sanctuary. Clayton Franklin will be the master of ceremonies, with Eddy Clark leading the singing and Winnie Clark being the pianist. Registration of the guests will be by Lacey Jester and Claya Calley.

Julia Russell will give the welcome to all family and friends. Pat Talley will give a special memorial address. The youngest and oldest Clark and Wingfield will be recognized. The marriages of Clark and Wingfield family members will also be acknowledged. The person who has traveled the farthest will be recognized.

Delores Clark will provide the morning devotion. Special music will be by Susan Jackson and others.

At noon a bountiful potluck lunch will be served on the picnic tables under the tall pines on the church grounds.

There will be no scheduled afternoon activities.

Everyone is invited to enjoy a wonderful day of reminiscing with friends and family.
