We have been saddened by the death of one of our good friend. Joyce Camp Murphy passed away Friday morning after a short illness. Funeral was Sunday afternoon at Willisville Church of Christ with Bro. Leon Watson and Bro. May officiating. Burial was in Willisville Cemetery. We know that God never makes a mistake and that she is in a better place and out of the suffering, but we just weren't ready for this. We extend our sympathy to her children and their families.

Roscoe and I visited at Hillcrest Nursing Center in Prescott on Monday with Veneta Bustin and Perna Mason. We had supper with Jimmy and Booie Williams at Wolves.

Visitors in church Sunday were Christy Cloud and her three children, Bro. Oliver Dorman, Alan and Kerri Rouso, Jennifer Bailey and a friend. New carpet will be installed in the parsonage tomorrow.

Jacob Gresham still isn't up to par after having his tonsils removed. Pray that he will soon be better.

Roscoe and I attended the Union Hill concert at Bodcaw Sunday night. Jack Daniel will be playing the piano for the Bill Gaither concert in McAllen, Texas, Tuesday night. Pray that doors will be opened for this group.

Ruth Vinson's surgery has been postponed to a later date due to complications.

A.B. and Maxine Luck visited with Gerald Overton in Prescott Sunday afternoon. He has been in the hospital due to a stroke, but is home now.

Nettie Ann Bowman remains in rehabilitation at Medical Park Hospital in Hopem but will probably get home tomorrow. Please continue to pray for her, Bro. Bowman and their family.

Donna Niece is home and she and her sister, Rhonda Grimes, rendered a special at Whites Chapel Church Sunday.

Please pray for Mrs. Muriel Hines. She recently had surgery in Texarkana at St. Michael's Hospital.

Lee Jarvis is home after a few days in the Hope hospital. His wife, Ina , remains in the hospital. Please pray that both of them will be better soon.

Washington School will be having a reunion the first weekend in May. The planning committee will meet in our home on Feb. 22.
