The University of Central Arkansas has certified the degrees of 576 students who completed requirements and participated in spring commencement exercises on May 15.

Donald G. Benson of Gurdon received a bachelor of science degree in physics. He was also named to the dean's list.

Rusty M. Freeman was also named to the dean's list at UCA.

To make the list, a student must compile a grade point average of at least 3.50, but less than 4.00 on a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Andrew Mikeal Taylor of Gurdon has been named to the president's list at Ouachita Baptist University.

from Gurdon is Andrew Mikeal Taylor.

Named to the dean's list from Gurdon is Meredith Lee Smith.

To be named to the president's list, a student must compile a 4.00 (straight 'A') grade point average and be classified as a full time student taking a minimum of 12 academic hours.

Students making at least a 3.5 grade point average and up to a 4.00 average for the semester are placed on the dean's list.
