Fair HillBarbara CorneliusPublished Wednesday, February 23, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune I don't know about all you folks out there, but I have really enjoyed the beautiful weather. Spring time is almost here. Claud Head is in critical condition at the heart hospital in Little Rock. Remember him and his family in your prayers. Dalton and Evera Loe had visitors last week. They were Jimmy Porter from Los Angeles, Calif., and Edward and Shirley Cooper from Hope. It wasn't too long ago Edward was in the hospital in Little Rock. Good to hear he is able to get out and about. Jim and Mary Youngman took Eva and Mary Beth Jones out for lunch Sunday. Mike Powell from Dallas visited with Annie Lee Cornelius Sunday. George Cornelius, Paul Boyd and Karen and David Cobb all had Sunday evening supper with Annie Lee. Annie Lee is doing fine. Tony Overton came in for the weekend from Baton Rouge, La. Friday he took his grandpa, J.W. Glass, to Magnolia for a doctor's appointment. Sunday he had lunch with all the family at J.W. and Maxine Glass's house. Don and Loraine Dossey from Mt. Clair, Calif., visited with Thomas and Ruby Fontaine Tuesday. Jimmy Neil, Tommy Blevins and Henry Stuart spent Wednesday with Thomas and Ruby Fontaine, discussing their family tree. They also looked through pictures. Nubbin Blevins had a doctor's appointment here recently. He is on a new medication and is doing very well. I have been asked to add these to our ill list: Gerald Overton, who is in Medial Park Hospital in Hope, and Maurice McLelland. Remember them in your prayers.
