Slatton, Williams To Wed SaturdayPublished Wednesday, February 23, 2000 in the Gurdon TimesMark and Rebecca Slatton of Delight announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Maranda Danyel, to Jason David Williams, the son of Charles and Brenda Williams of Gurdon. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Beacher and Banner Craig of Delight, Leon Slatton of Delight and Linda Goodman of Sarasota, Fla. She is a 1997 graduate of Delight High School and a 1999 graduate of University of Arkansas Community College at Hope with a degree in respiratory therapy. She is employed with Health South Rehabilitation Center in Texarkana. Her fianc is the grandson of the late Ceburn and Ruby Williams of Gurdon and the late Homer and Grace Kinard of Arkadelphia. A 1996 graduate of Gurdon High School, he is employed at Cooper Tire Company in Texarkana, Texas. Vows will be exchanged at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 26, at Delight First Baptist Church.
