Joyce Camp Murphy

Joyce Camp Murphy, 73, of Waldo died Friday, February 11, 2000, in Magnolia Hospital.

Mrs. Murphy was born August 3, 1926, in Hope to Irwin Andrew and Emma Etta (Gray) Burns. She was a retired self-employed owner and operator of Willisville Grocery and a member of the Church of Christ in Willisville. She was preceded in death by O.B. Buddy' Camp, first husband of 32 years, and Lee Roy Murphy, her second husband.

Survivors include four daughters, Linda Kay Long, Vicky Joann Hicks, Nancy Sue Walthall and Terry Jean Jarvis all of Willisville; stepson, Dwight Arnold Camp of McLeod, Texas; twin brother, Elmer Loyce Burns of Bodcaw; two half sisters, Benni Walker of Ajax, La., and Maxine Williamson of Tyler, Texas; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, February 13, at Willisville Church of Christ with Leon Watson officiating. Burial was in Willisville Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home of Magnolia.

Pallbearers were Frank Long, Randy Hicks, Shannon Hicks, Chris Long, Matthew Herring and Wiley Whitley. Memorials may be made to the Southern Christian Home in Morrilton.
