Clyne F. ComptonPublished Wednesday, February 16, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneClyne F. Compton, 88, of Prescott, died Friday, February 11, 2000. Mr. Compton was a retired crane operator for Potlatch, a veteran of WW II and a member of Boughton Baptist Church. He was born June 30, 1911, to Levi and Pearl Mitchell Compton in southern Arkansas. Survivors include his loving wife, Wilma Burks Compton of Prescott; two daughters, Linda Ghormley and Kay Hendrix both of Prescott; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Services were Sunday, February 13, in the chapel of Shackelford Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Christopher officiating.
