Prayers and sympathy goes out to the family. Mrs. Marie Ridgell, sister to Ruby Fontaine and brother to Henry Stuart, turned 81 Sunday. Happy birthday, Marie. Edward Cooper has been moved to a private room at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. I haven't heard how he is doing. Funeral services for Oleta Louise Estes was Monday morning at Shackelford Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Jones officiating the services. Tony Overton came in Thursday afternoon. He had drill this weekend. He stayed pretty busy during the visit, visiting his friends. He had to get on the road Sunday afternoon early for the long 7-hour drive back to Baton Rouge, La. Annie Lee Cornelius is doing fine. Mrs. Ruby Fontaine talked to her over the phone several times last week. I miss seeing her on the tractor feeding the cows. Julia Taylor from Lonoke visited with her mother and sister, Patricia Kirkham, over the weekend. Sunday they all had lunch together. Those attending were Julia Taylor, Randy, Maggie, Donald, David and Jessica Hopkins, Ricky, Angela, Elizabeth, Blake and Timothy Hopkins, Brad and Connie Peters, Ruth Thompson and David and Patricia Kirkham. Kim, Overton, Al Formby, Brandon Tullis, Aaron Hearnsburger, Tiffany Trevillion, and Dee and Ricky Hamrick enjoyed a Sunday afternoon riding 4-wheelers. My son, Aaron Morton, and I visited with my parents, J.W. and Maxine Glass, Sunday afternoon. We helped them with cleaning up and tearing down the chicken house that collapsed under the snow. Lewis and Irene Cornelius had a visitor over the weekend, Dexter Blevins from Norman, Okla. He is a retired Baptist minister and a brother to Irene.
