GHS Squad Scores Best

The Gurdon High School cheerleading squad scored the highest score in the AA/A division at the Southern Regional Cheerleading Competition Sat., Feb. 5, at Arkansas High in Texarkana.

However, due to an infraction the cheerleaders only received a second place trophy.

This dynamic group of cheerleaders will be traveling to UCA's Farris Center to compete for the state title Sat. morning, Feb. 12, at 9:00.

The cheerleaders hope everyone will attend to cheer them to a state win. The squad appreciates all those attending last Saturday at the regional competition to support them and remind you, "it's great to be a Go-Devil."
