Four InjuredBY JOHN MILLERPublished Wednesday, February 9, 2000 in the Gurdon Times A one-vehicle accident left four people injured Wednesday, Feb. 2. The accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. on McMillan Road when a 1979 Ford van, driven by Lisa Jones, 34, of Gurdon, apparently lost control, left the road and struck a tree, according to Clark County Sheriff Troy Tucker. The Gurdon Rescue Unit arrived on the scene and helped extricate Mitchell Jones, 9, of Gurdon. The others injured in the accident were Brandy Jones, 12, and Lavelle Easley, 63, both of Gurdon. Easley was in critical condition at the time. All four were transported to Baptist Hospital in Arkadelphia by ambulance. Tucker said seat belts were not in use at the time of the wreck.
