Community NewsJerine HatleyPublished Wednesday, June 16, 1999 in the Gurdon Times Elder Frank Reed of Little Rock will be in a fellowship revival through June 18 at First Memorial Church of God in Christ in Gurdon on Carrie Street. Services begin nightly at 7:30. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Elder Paul Williams, pastor. Barbara Ann Jackson and Joyce Ann Harrington of Chicago, Ill., spent a few days with their sister, Earlene Jackson, of Burtsell and Sue Muldrew of Okolona and other relatives and friends. They also visited their brother, Percy Jackson, of Chidester. There will be a willing workers program June 27 at 3:00 p.m. and also a baby contest at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church at Gurdon. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guests are St. Clair Baptist Church, Burtsell, Rev. L. B. Beard and Rev. Charles Gatlin of Center Ridge Baptist Church, Little Rock, pastor and speaker, Sis. Jerine Hatley, president, Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor. New Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Gurdon will be the special guest at Gennesaret Baptist Church in Arkadelphia on June 20 at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Quintin Radford, speaker, Rev. Charles Hood, pastor.
