HillcrestPublished Wednesday, February 2, 2000 in the Nevada County PicayuneJ.E. Dillard and Margaret Rhodes spent Tuesday with parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louie Dillard. Richard Key from Gurdon spent Monday with Mrs. Key. Due to the deep snow last week, we didn't have many visitors, but we have had a lot of phone calls. Trish Milam was here last Monday to visit Hester Campbell. Helen Morris visited residents last week. Carrie Webb and Rene Yonks visited Carrie Vandiver. Mary Billingsley visited her husband, Thomas Billingsley. Esther Reese enjoyed a visit from her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Larry and Dana Otwell, Zack, Zayne and Zoie Otwell. Louise and Bob Payne visited friends here last week. We enjoyed Forest Hill Baptist Church bringing night entertainment on Tuesday night. The Barham Quartet and the Langston Brothers sang gospel music and we've heard lots of good comments. We have been snowed in like everyone else, but have been comfortable and made it fine. We are sorry to report that Ozelle Dillard fell and broke her hip on Sunday night. We sure appreciate the Prescott Church of Christ getting out in this bad weather to bring our Sunday afternoon services. Search | Nevada County Picayune by date | Gurdon Times by date |
