BoughtonMrs. Willie HooksPublished Wednesday, February 2, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune We have been living in a beautiful winter wonderland since Thursday, but also surviving one of the biggest snow storms in the history of Arkansas. We had approximately 15 inches of snow here. I would like to thank our nephews and all our friends, especially the young people, for their calls and volunteering to help us anyway they could. We appreciate it so much. Our son, Willie Hugh, came Monday and drove us to Texarkana to see doctors and he ate a hamburger supper with us before going home. Theresa and Jewel Grifford and Melissa and Robert Keese visited Mary Ann and J.D. Lucas during the week. Jeff and Cheri Ridgell, Josh and Loretta, Robin Ridgell and Paul Ridgell had dinner with Herbie Ridgell Saturday. The kids had a big time playing in the snow, making a snow man. Jim Meador and Huey Garner enjoyed playing dominoes with Everett Orren Saturday. If it weren't for the last minute a lot of things would never get done.
