We've been wanting some moisture and it looks like we got it. This was one of those once-in-a-lifetime snows that people will talk about years from now. I have heard reports of some barns and chicken houses falling from the weight. I hope you survived the snow storm without any broken bones or bent fenders.

Just when the warm weather had people thinking about gardening, Mother Nature reminded us not to get the cart before the horse. I saw some cabbage and onion plants for sale before the snow, but I suspect sales have been slow.

Kay Nelson has returned after spending a few days vacationing in Ft. Smith. She was looking after the grandkids while Andy and Elizabeth were in Colorado.

Several men of the community had their Sunday afternoon naps interrupted recently to fight a trailer fire at a nearby deer camp. The local fire department was assisted by units from Redland, Laneburg and Cale.

I hear James Nelson has been trying to find the old television show Rawhide on his TV. "Head 'em up, move 'em out" or maybe it should be "Head 'em up, move 'em in."

Church services were cancelled here Sunday due to the snow. Do you reckon the preacher might preach twice as long next time?

Two wrongs don't make a right, but two Wrights did make an airplane.
