The 32nd annual Arkansas Farm Show is February 4 and 5 at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds.

More than 125 exhibitors from Arkansas and 16 to 18 other states are exhibiting the latest technology in equipment, services and supplies, all which mirror Arkansas' highly diversified agriculture industry.

The exhibits cover 70,000 square feet of enclosed and heated area, plus several outside exhibits for the farmer and rancher. Items of special interest are:

  • Food Fair. New, quick and easy food preparation ideas, featuring beef, pork and rice. Location is in the Arts and Crafts annex building, February 4 at 11 a.m. to noon and February 5, 11 a.m.-noon and 1-2 p.m.
  • Mini tractor and antique weight-pulling competition. Saturday, February 5, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. or until finished.
  • Antique tractors spanning the last century on display.
  • Stationary engines will be on display and running throughout the day Saturday.
  • Free barbecue lunch Saturday, for the first 1,000 show attendees.
Admission and parking are free.

Shows hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, February 4, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, February 5.

This is an excellent opportunity to compare equipment, talk to the experts about specific farm needs, get answers for special problems or just look for new ideas to make the farm or ranch more efficient or profitable.
