Clara Sue McGlone, 58, of Winnsboro, Texas, died Tuesday, January 18, 2000, at a Tyler hospital.

Mrs. McGlone was born in Prescott to the late Owen and Lucille Delaney Harris. She was a housewife and a member of the Church of Christ in Winnsboro. She married James Hampton McGlone on February 22, 1960, and was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Levonne Harris.

Survivors include her husband of forty years, James McGlone of Winnsboro; sons, Darren McGlone of Tyler and Ronnie McGlone of Slaton, Texas; a brother, Alvis Harris of Greenville, Texas; three sisters, Joyce Welch of Mabank, Texas, Polly Lewis of Winnsboro and Lou Elmore of Winnsboro; grandchildren, Ryan McGlone of Dallas, Texas, Jennifer Vessel of Tyler, Texas, Brittany McGlone of Winnsboro, Sara Vessel of Tyler, Hope McGlone of Slaton, Texas, and Brandon McGlone of Slaton.

Funeral services were held Thursday, January 20, at Beaty Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro with Steve Ridgell and Ken Hinkley officiating. Burial was in Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro under the direction of Beaty Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
