Rosston

I have been out of circulation due to a round with bronchitis, so I don't know much news.

There have been lots of flu bugs in Rosston and all around.

Jerry Sue Dixon had surgery in Little Rock, but I think she is home now. She needs our prayers.

Joyce Murphy had tests in Magnolia last week. She went back Monday for a report.

Ruth Vinson was to go back to Texarkana Tuesday and hopefully she will get a surgery date. She has had a long wait, so pray for her.

Jim and Mona Dixon have been ailing for some time and also need our prayers.

The work on the parsonage is coming along slowly. The air conditioning people are getting the new duct work in this weekend. Roscoe and Bob Gresham have work some more this week.

Jacob Gresham, Jeff and Christy Taylor, B.C. and Louise Dillard and many others have been out of church with the flu bug.

Next Saturday night (the 5th Saturday of the month) the quartet that Bro. Jimmy Sayers of Magnolia sings with will be doing a concert at Rosston at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited.

Sympathy to Joey and Ellen Wallace. Joey's grandmother passed away last week. They were out of church on Sunday.

Clifton Merritt is being brought from Baptist Medical Center to St. Vincent Rehab Center for therapy. Pray that he is on the road to recovery after such a long stay in the hospital.

Jimmy and Booie Williams were our guests for supper after church Sunday night.

Congratulations to our granddaughter, Tori Rocole, of Magnolia. She made the dean's list this past semester.
