Everyone seems to be enjoying the nice cool weather, but the main complaint is no rain.

Toni and Peggy Cox from Camden spent several days with their grandparents, Pershing and Mary Cox, last week.

Casey Hendrix from Little Rock spent a few days last week with his parents, Kay and Junior Hendrix.

Darren, Kristi and Emilee Neal visited Neil and me Sunday. They also visited Papaw Jerry and Granny Rhonda Hillery on Sunday.

Willie and Julene Hulan visited their son, Thomas, and Linda, Ashley and Kim Hulan in Gurdon on Sunday.

My husband, Neal, and grandson, Randy Lowdermilk, made a business trip to Arkadelphia on Monday.

Those having birthday dinner with George Cox on Saturday were Hazel Powell from Little Rock; Rayburn and Mary Powell from North Little Rock; Charley and Mel Cox from Ashdown; Gary and Gaywyn Golden from Murfreesboro; Gigi Golden from Hope; Pershing and Mary Cox; and Danny, Lisa, Kyle and Caley Pennington. They enjoyed a day of good food and visiting. Oh, yeah. Who do you think did the cooking? Joy, of course. Joyce Tyree visited in the afternoon.

Terrell and Olgia Ingersoll and Eddie and Patty Akin from Hope visited Don and Pat Ingersoll on Sunday.
