McRae Reunion Set

The fifth McRae School reunion will be held this year from Friday, June 30, through Tuesday, July 4.

Tentative reunion plans include pre-registration at the Ila Upchurch Center on Friday night, June 30. There will be an opening session and talent show on Saturday, July 1. At this time there will also be booths providing arts and crafts, computer pictures, reunion tapes, etc. If you are interested in setting up a booth, contact the committee by May 1.

Reunion morning worship service will be held Sunday, July 2. On Monday, July 3, individual classes will meet and a reunion banquet will be held.

The big blast will come on Tuesday, July 4. There will be a parade, a picnic and a semi-formal millennium ball with a fireworks display concluding the special occasion. Each class, interested groups and individuals are urged to participate in the parade.

Registration fee for the reunion is $40 for each adult and $15 for each child age 4-18. The adult price will get a souvenir packet.

Your registration is needed by April 15 to be able to make adequate plans for your enjoyment. Send your check to McRae Reunion Committee, 202 E. Fourth North, Prescott, AR 71857.

Registration after April 15 will be $45 for each adult and $20 for each child 4-18. (Souvenir packets will not be available for late registrants.)

The next meeting of the committee will be Monday, February 14, at 7:00 p.m. in the Upchurch Center. Other meetings at the same time will be held March 13, April 10, May 15, June 12, June 19 and June 26.
