Scholarships Offered

The Arkansas Public Health Association (APHA) is accepting requests for applications for $500 and $1,000 scholarships to be awarded to Arkansas students in the public health field.

Application deadline is March 16. Recipients will be notified April 1 and will be recognized and receive the scholarship at the association's conference in May at the Austin Hotel in Hot Springs.

The $1,000 scholarship applicant must be an Arkansas resident; be enrolled or plan to enroll in a field of public health; be classified as a sophomore in a college, vo-tech, or university; have at least a 2.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

The $500 scholarship applicant must be an Arkansas resident; be enrolled or plan to enroll in a field of public health; be a high school senior or have a high school diploma or GED; have at least a 2.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need.
