Deaths, FuneralsFlorence Butcher McGoughPublished Wednesday, January 19, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune Florence Butcher McGough, 89, of Gladewater, Texas, died Thurs,, Jan. 13, 2000. Mrs. McGough was born Aug. 19, 1910, in Prescott. She was a homemaker and a Baptist She was preceded in death by her husband, Presley Munn McGough. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Benny Joe and Glenda McGough of Texarkana, Texas; one brother, Arvil L. Butcher of Mobile, Ala.; two grandchildren, Michael and Patricia McGough of Euless, Texas, and Laura McGough of Euless; two great grandchildren, Benjamin Hunter McGough and Daniel Presley McGough; and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held Sat., Jan. 15, at Laneburg Cemetery with Rev. Hill Johnson officiating. Burial was under the direction of Croley Funeral Home of Gladewater, Texas.
