There will be a gospel singing at the First Church of God in Gurdon located on Hwy. 67 South June 19 at 7:00 p.m. The featured group is The Testimonies. Everyone is invited. Sycamore Baptist Church of Beirne will have its annual homecoming June 27. There will be a special group performing and a potluck dinner will be served following church services. Everyone is invited to attend. Levi Parks family reunion will be held on June 26 from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the community center at Fair Park in Hope. Thomas and Tracy Saunders of are Magnolia are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Sara Ann, born Monday, June 7, 1999, at Camden. She weighed 6 pounds and 15+ ounces, and measured 19+ inches long. Sarah was welcomed home by her sisters, Brittney and Kalene. Grandparents are Glen and Rose Marie Hughes of Gurdon and Wayne Saunders of Magnolia. Kevin and Susan Bracy announce the birth of their son, Cameron Lewis, on Sunday, May 16, 1999. He weighed six pounds and was 19 inches long. Grandparents are Alan and Debbie Gaither and Larry and Kathy Seymore of Arkadelphia and Steve and Gail Bracy of Malvern. Great grandparents are Lloyd and Betty Dodwell of Gurdon, John and Corine Seymore of Arkadelphia and Earlene Young of Locust Grove. The Clark County Humane Society is collecting Big Star and Piggly Wiggly grocery receipts. The Humane Society receives one cent of each dollar spent. This money helps pay for food and veterinary services for the animals. Mail the receipts to Clark County Humane Society, P.O. Box 435, Arkadelphia, AR 71923. Muldrew C.M.E. Church of Gurdon and its pastor, Rev. Ronald Scott, invites everyone to come support the Sis. Sharon Lasker transplant fund raising event on June 19 at Gurdon City Park.
