Deaths, FuneralsLavonna RutherfordPublished Wednesday, January 19, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune Lavona Rutherford, 48, of Bodcaw died Tues., Jan. 11, 2000, from injuries received in a truck accident in Kent, Texas. Mrs. Rutherford was born May 27, 1951, in Clinton, Mo. She was a truck driver and a member of Bodcaw #2 Church. Survivors include her husband, Larry Rutherford of Bodcaw; two sons, Roye Miller and Ryne Miller of Bodcaw; mother, Doris Garrett of Adrian, Mo.; two sisters, Lois Wreyford of Hope and Cheryl Garrett of Adrian, Mo.; and one brother, Dale Garrett of Hope. Funeral services were held Sun., Jan. 16, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps with Bro. Joe Brown officiating.
