CaneyRuby WickerPublished Wednesday, January 19, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune Betty McBride and Dale are still on the sick list. Dale had a heart attack while in veterans hospital. We were proud to see Suzanne Cross in church Sunday. She is still recuperating from surgery. Among our visitors at Morris Sunday were Bro. Tal Webb's parents, Donald and Margaret Webb, and Willie and Julene Hulan. We were certainly proud to have all our visitors. Jared Dundee, grandson of Jerry Don and Anita Joyce Wicker, started classes at the University of Arkansas at Hope Monday. Jared will be mastering the technology of computers. Don and Peggy Fain of Camden visited her parents, Bro. Junior and Ann Loe, Saturday. My daughters Janice Callicott, Phyllis Stewart, Amy Sweat and I visited their Aunt Ethel Ellis and Dale Saturday afternoon. Afterwards we met Emily Sweat and her friend, Kate, from SAU in Magnolia at the Crossroads for supper. Just a reminder of Bible study Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. and TNT Thursday evening and that next Thursday, January 27, we will have singing again at Morris Baptist Church. Kevin Karmel of Fort Worth and Keith Karmel of Benton visited their grandmother, Margie Reed, and other relatives last weekend.
