We were sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. Ruby Harper of Camden, formerly of Reader. She was the grandmother of Robert Orren. Robert and wife, Sharla, Everett and Mary Orren and Dale Orren attended the funeral at Red Hill Wednesday.

Jimmy Joe Jester spent one night last week with his sister, Darlene Young, and her family in Hope.

Danny Hooks has retired from his job. He is looking for a house in Hot Springs or Little Rock. Danny and Doyle Everett visited their mother, Cathrine Hooks, during the week.

T.J. Glass, grandson of Mae Blount, went to Arkadelphia Sunday to enter college at Henderson on Monday.

We extend our sympathy to the family of Doyle Meeks of Longview, Texas. Doyle is the brother of Neil Meeks. He died in Longview after a lengthy illness and was to have been buried at Red Hill Cemetery near Chidester Monday morning.

Willie and I enjoyed visiting and watching some interesting family tapes with Neil and Hazel Meeks Monday night.
