Police Seek Info In Sunday RobberyBY JOHN MILLERPublished Wednesday, January 12, 2000 in the Nevada County Picayune An unidentified thief robbed the Red-E-Mart convenience store on Highway 24 Sunday morning. According to Prescott Police Chief Sam Reeder, the subject entered the store around 7:40 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 9. The suspect pulled a weapon and held the clerk and her husband at gunpoint, ordering them to give him cash. After getting the money, the suspect fled on foot. He was described as wearing a black suede leather coat, blue jeans, gloves and a ski mask. Reeder said no one was harmed in the robbery. However, he added, with the suspect using a weapon, the charge, when he's arrested, will be aggravated robbery.
