Nominations Are SoughtPublished Wednesday, January 12, 2000 in the Gurdon TimesProducers in Local Administrative Area 1 (LAA 1) are encouraged to go by the Farm Service Agency office to pick up nominating petitions for the county committee election to be held on March 13. LAA 1 is comprised of the following communities: Amity, Alpine, Hollywood, Palestine, Okolona, Dobyville and Boswell. Producers in these communities are encouraged to nominate a producer whom they feel will represent well their agricultural interests. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
