Forms Available For Fair Queen ContestPublished Wednesday, June 16, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe time is near to be thinking about entering the Nevada County Fair Queen pageant. The ages are two through 21. The date has been moved up this year to September 2 and 4. Entry forms, along with rules and information, are now available. The deadline for turning in your entry form is July 30. The pageants will start at 6 p.m. each night. If you are interested in entering the pageant you may pick up an entry form packet at any one of the following locations, Chamber of Commerce, 116 East Second in Prescott; the Y Country Store at Rosston; Waters Grocery in Willisville; Bodcaw Grocery in Bodcaw; Eagle's Nest in Emmet and Allen's Grocery in Bluff City. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
