Smart Presented Salutatorian HonorPublished Wednesday, June 16, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneAshley Marie Smart was presented the fifth grade salutatorian honor at the awards ceremony at the Rowlett, Texas, Elementary School assembly recently. She was presented the math, reading, science, language arts and music awards. These achievements placed her second in her class of 130 members. She is the 11-year-old daughter of Larry and Kathie Smart of Rowlett, Texas. Her grandparents are John and Shirley Smart of Magnolia and Bobby and Sophie Taylor of Prescott.
