Officiating at the double ring ceremony was Rev. James Sprayberry.

Nuptial music was presented by Janet Knotts, pianist, and Diane Jernigan, organist. Special music was performed by vocalists Emily McCraw of Bay Springs and Danny Holified of Laurel.

The bride was escorted to the alter by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a sleeveless princess line gown of white matte satin featuring a scoop neck and deep border of beaded Alencon lace with scattered appliques ascending from the hem and semi- cathedral train. Her cathedral length train veil of illusion silk was accented with multi-sized pearls. She wore a string of pearls, a gift from the groom and carried a hand-tied bouquet of Bianca roses. Tucked into her bouquet was an antique lace handkerchief given to her by Mrs. Buffington, a close family friend, when Mandy was fifteen.

Attending her sister as maid of honor was Suzy Sumrall of Bay Springs. Bridesmaids were Kim Anderson of Brandon, Miss., Amanda Merchant of Bay Springs and Kelli Moore of Raleigh, Miss. Each bridesmaid wore a formal pewter satin gown in a style of her choice and carried hand- tied bouquets of Livia roses. Kaitlin Russell of Bodcaw, niece of the groom, served as flower girl.

Billy Russell, the groom's father, served his son as best man. Groomsmen were Kenny Camp, the groom's brother-in-law, Reed Camp, nephew of the groom, both of Stamps; Jeff Russell, the groom's brother, of Bodcaw and Charlie Davis and Brian Johnson of Laurel.

Following the ceremony, the parents of the bride hosted a reception at the Bay Springs Country Club.

Guests were greeted at the door by Mr. and Mrs. Warren Estes and Mr. Paul Spurlin.

On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents honored the wedding party and out of town guests with a rehearsal dinner at the Laurel Country Club.

The bridesmaid's luncheon was hosted by Mrs. Nell G. Taylor, grandmother of the bride, at her home in Jackson.

The couple is now at home in Laurel, where the groom is pastor of First Baptist Church of Shady Grove.
