Mark H. Lambert

Mark H. Lambert Sr., 84, of Sutton died Sunday, January 2, 2000, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

Mr. Lambert was born January 30, 1915, in Prescott to Rev. Alberta and Loretta Hitt Lambert. He was a retired lathe foreman with 25 years with Bruner Ivory Handle Mill Co., of Hope. He was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church and an U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Erma Lee Ghormley, who died in 1985.

Survivors include three sons, William McCrae Lambert of Tallulah, La., Mark H. Lambert Jr., of Sutton; and Mike Lambert of Texarkana; one daughter, Lana M. Carlton of Bodcaw; one sister, Edna Fluke of Hurst, Texas, and 14 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 3, at Harmony United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating. Burial was in Harmony Cemetery in Sutton under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
