Harrel 'Sam' Green

Harrel 'Sam' Green, 76, of Camden died Thursday., December 30, 1999, at St. Vincent's Infirmary in Little Rock.

Mr. Green was born July 8, 1923, in Nevada County to William Jennings and Esther Dora Hicks Green. He was a retired painter, a Baptist and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Green of Camden and Gary Don Green of Camden; three brothers, Chink Green of Doddridge, Ervin Green of Visalia, Calif., and Earl Green of Camden; five sisters, Norma Jarvis of Camden, Pat Richardson of Camden, Vera Cross of Laneburg, Vivian Ammons of Prescott and Margie Atkinson of Cale; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were Sunday, January 2, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Raymond Hicks officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery at Bluff City. Arrangements were under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
