Some Christmas get together's failed to get in last week's news. Mae Blount had all of her children home for Christmas. Annie Mae Hooks had all her children and most of her grandchildren home on Christmas Eve for supper and their Christmas holiday.

Syble Brown, Judy Allen and Amy, a friend of Ryan Brown, had Christmas Eve supper with James Roy, Barbara, Ryan and John Adam Brown.

Katie Pittman, Sue Austin, Peggy Raper, Elsie Elmore and Willie Hugh Hooks had dinner with us last Monday.

Lonnie and Leon Moore of Michigan, Sammy and Kaye House, Jason and Lauren of Little Rock visited Lenord and Faye House during the week. Mrs. Moore, Leon's mother, returned home with Leon and Lonnie to maker her home.

We welcome Robert and Agnes Morrow in our community. They have built a beautiful home on what is known as the Roy Cagle place.

The Herbert and Tennie Ridgell children had their annual get together Saturday at our home. Those attending were; Joel and Jennifer Ridgell of Cumby, Tex.; Joy and Billy Ray Shaver of Hamburg; Paula Robbins Ridgell; Herbie Ridgell and granddaughter Ashley Beck; Kay Wren; Elsie Elmore; Willie and myself.

Everett and Mary Orren spent New Year's Day with the grandson, Robert Orren and his wife, Sharla, of Hope. They enjoyed seeing Arkansas beat Texas in the Cotton Bowl.

James Roy Brown and sons Ryan and John Adam, went to Dallas, Tex. to see the Cotton Bowl.

Chloe Orren visited some with her granddaughter, Linda Brooks and family, while they were visiting Everett and Mary Orren last week.

Willie and I enjoyed having Syble Brown and Judy Allen visit us for a while last Thursday.

Courtney Jackson was airlifted to Children's Hospital in Little Rock where she spent several days with her diabetes acting up.
