Charles William Edward Key

Charles William Edward Key Jr., 64 of Hope died Wednesday, December 22, 1999, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.

Mr. Key was born April 15, 1935, in Hempstead County to Charles and Pauline Ferguson Key. He was a farmer, member of New Hope Baptist Church of Hope and a member of the Arkansas National Guard. He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Joan Norvell Key of Hope; three sons, Greg Key of Dallas, Texas, and Chuck Key and Scott Key both of Hope; his mother, Pauline Key of Hope; one brother and sister-in-law, Joe David and Mary Key of Hope; four grandchildren, Tiffany Key, Meredith Key, Ashlea Key and Taylor Key all of Hope; and two nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, December 24, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel in Hope with Rev. Jim Sayers and Rev. Neal Ridling officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope.
