Marietta McDonaldPublished Wednesday, December 29, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesMarietta McDonald, 77, of Gurdon died Thursday, December 23, 1999. Mrs. McDonald was a retired supervisor with Levi-Strauss. She was a member of Red Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. McDonald was the widow of L. C. McDonald. Survivors include one son, L. R. McDonald of Gurdon; three daughters, Marie Francis of Haughton, La., Loretta Kinzer of Dallas, Texas, and Lois Jackson of Gurdon; two brothers, Delton Forthman of Gurdon and George R. Forthman of Mt. Ida; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Funeral services were Sunday, December 26, at Red Springs Baptist Church.
