Edgar F. McKinPublished Wednesday, December 29, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesEdgar F. 'Pete' McKin, 73, of Curtis died Tuesday, December 21, 1999. Mr. McKin was a retired employee of International Paper Company and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Birdie Hathcoat McKin; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Dianne McKin of Gurdon and Dennis and Susan McKin of Bismarck; two brothers, Roland McKin of Hot Springs and Jeweldine McKin of Nash, Texas; three sisters, Rachael Smith of Gurdon, Catherine Johnson of Dallas, Texas, and Martha Stroud of Pine Bluff; two grandchildren, Brian and Nanette; three great grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren; stepchildren, David Hathcoat and Joyce Helms of Arkadelphia, Danny Hathcoat, Rita Roe, Leon Hathcoat and Wonda Clark of Gurdon and Betty Calley of Tulsa, Okla. Mr. McKin was preceded in death by brothers Bobby, Jack and Dick McKin. Funeral services were Thurs., Dec. 23, in Horne Funeral Chapel.
