College NewsPublished Wednesday, December 29, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesThe Baylor University Office of Enrollment Services has notified Brandi Escalante of her acceptance into the university's fall 2000 undergraduate class. President Robert B. Sloan Jr. also announced Escalante as being a recipient of the President's Baylor Scholarship. "This places Brandi among the most outstanding students entering Baylor next fall and additionally this scholarship signifies the academic ability Brandi possesses which is inherent in Baylor's ideals," Sloan said.
