Rodney Earl CalleyPublished Wednesday, December 22, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesRodney Earl Calley, 81, of Whelen Springs died Monday, December 13, 1999. Mr. Calley was a retired rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and he attended Grove United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Ann Bonita Calley; one son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Lori Calley of Gurdon; and one sister, Audrey Brown of Gurdon. Services were held Wednesday, Dec. 15, in Horne Funeral Chapel, interment in Rose Hedge Cemetery in Gurdon under the direction of Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
